Turkish Society Of Canada'nin Ontario'da yasayan Turk Toplumunu 1 temmuz 2010 da uygulanmaya  baslayacak yeni vergilendirme sistemi hakkinda bilgilendirmek amaciyla 15 Mayis Cumartesi gunu 'Yeni vergilendirme sisteminin kisiler ve kuruluslar/isletmeler uzerinde nasil bir etki yapacagi ve uygulamalari konusunda bilgilerin paylasildigi seminere konusmaci olarak Bob Delaney (MPP - Mississauga/Streetsville) ve Eric Paton’da (Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP) katilarak konuyla ilgili detayli bilgi verdiler ve yeni sisteme dair goruslerini katilimcilara aktardilar.

The Turkish Society of Canada hosted a seminar on Saturday, May 15, 2010 to discuss the harmonization of the Ontario Retail Sales Taxes with the Canadian Federal Goods and Services Tax. A panel consisting of Mr. Bob Delaney, MPP for Mississauga/Streetsville and Mr. Eric Paton, Associate Tax partner from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP,  discussed the impact of the rules, input tax credit (ITC) restrictions, and timelines to assist individuals and businesses in preparing for the significant changes that lie ahead.  The panelists highlighted the policy behind harmonization, technical considerations in respect of the rules, and some steps that could be taken to ease the transition.
